Apreda Baseball Club 14u Loses Lead Early In Defeat NYBC Tournament Champions Legends Prospects

Apreda Baseball Club 14u watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 8-0 loss to Legends Prospects on Saturday. Legends Prospects scored on a single by Thomas in the first inning.

Legends Prospects took an early lead in the first inning. Thomas drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

Legends Prospects scored three runs in the fourth inning. Legends Prospects’s big inning was driven by a walk by Bodnar and a walk by Ilszak.

One bright spot for Apreda Baseball Club 14u was a single by Rob Chaneski in the third inning.

Penney earned the win for Legends Prospects. He pitched four innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out five, and walking one. Brendan Hughes took the loss for Apreda Baseball Club 14u . He threw three innings, surrendering four runs, five hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

Chaneski, Daniel Magglio, and Nicholas Barros each collected one hit to lead Apreda Baseball Club 14u .

Legends Prospects didn’t commit a single error in the field. Maloney had the most chances in the field with six.
